lyrics
There in South Africa, lived the Nunda, the eater of people which was once the sultan’s cat.
It left the town and took up its abode in a thicket near the road . So if any one passed, going for water, it devoured him. If it saw a cow going to feed, it devoured him. If it saw a goat, it devoured him. Whatever went along that road the cat caught and ate. No man dared kill the cat, which grew bolder and bolder, and at last came into the town to look for its prey.
'Seek for it and kill it!!! It is no longer a cat, but a demon!'
'This MUST be the real Nunda!. 'My mother told me its ears were small, and this one's are small. She told me it was broad and not long, and this is broad and not long. She told me it had spots like a civet-cat, and this has spots like a civet-cat.'
